What personal data I collect
When you purchase or access any of my products, courses or services I collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your payment information (processed securely by Stripe via Thinkific)
- Your IP address and general location (collected automatically by the platforms I use)
Why I collect it
I collect your personal data to:
- Process your purchase and give you access to the product or service you purchased
- Send you relevant communications about your purchase
- Comply with my legal and tax obligations
The legal basis for processing your personal data is:
Contract: processing is necessary to deliver the product or service you purchased.
Legal obligation: processing is necessary to comply with Danish tax and bookkeeping law (bogføringsloven).
Legitimate interests: to improve my products and services and communicate with customers about relevant matters.
I do not sell your personal data to anyone. Ever.
Who I share it with
Your data is shared only with the third party services I use to run my business:
- Thinkific — my course and product hosting platform. Their privacy policy is available at thinkific.com/privacy
- Stripe — my payment processor. Their privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy
These services are bound by their own privacy policies and GDPR compliance obligations.
Please note that Thinkific and Stripe are based in the United States. By purchasing from me you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in the United States. Both companies are compliant with applicable data protection regulations.
How long I keep your data
I keep your personal data for the following periods:
Account data (name, email, course access): for as long as you have an active account on the platforms I use to deliver my products and services.
Transaction data (purchase records): for 5 years from the date of purchase in accordance with Danish bookkeeping law (bogføringsloven). After this period data will be reviewed and deleted or anonymised where possible.
Automated decision making
I do not use automated decision making or profiling in relation to your personal data.
Age restriction
My products and services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. By purchasing you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Your rights under GDPR
As an EU resident you have the right to:
- Access the personal data I hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to how I process your data
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for any specific processing of your data at any time
